LeBron Raymone James Sr. born on the 30th of December, 1984, is an American professional basket ball player who represents the Los Angeles Lakers (NBA). The player is referred to by the name of King James and is considered to be among the best basketball players ever. James is the winner of four NBA Championships, four NBA MVP Awards as well as Four NBA Finals MVP Awards and three All-Star MVP Awards. He also has two Olympic Gold medals. James is the NBA All-Star who has most points in playoffs, the second-highest point total and the seventh best ever assist number. Alongside being an NBA All-Star, James was chosen for an NBA All-NBA Team on 18 occasions. As a total, James participated in more than 10 NBA Finals, the third-most ever. This includes eight straight between 2011 and 2018. In 2021, James was selected to the NBA 75th Anniversary Team, and in 2022 became the first player of NBA history to score 10,000 or more career points rebounds and assists. James was a basketball player for St. Vincent St. Mary High School close to his hometown of Akron Ohio. His future NBA career was hyped by media. To prepare for the pro game it was his team, the Cleveland Cavaliers chose him as the number one overall pick in the NBA draft of 2003. In 2004, he received the title of NBA Rookie. He quickly established himself as one of the top league athletes, winning the NBA MVP award in the years 2009 and 2010. James was a free agency following his failure to secure championships for Cleveland. The decision to leave Cleveland to join Miami Heat, announced on the show on television The Decision, is considered one of the controversial free-agent actions in sports history.
