Christopher Peter Meloni was an American actor who is famous for his role on the popular television show Law & Order Special Victims Unit'. While in university Christopher Meloni has always been interested in the acting world. He went to study acting at the University of Colorado at Boulder. While he was active on TV and film, his roles on small screens are what brought him much fame. He's been able to effortlessly play roles of characters on both sides of the law, and captivate the viewers' attention. He portrayed the role of a serial killer in the first TV series he appeared in however he later chose to take on the role of an NYPD detective. Numerous times, he was nominated for both the prestigious Emmy Awards, and the PRISM Awards. Eyes that are piercing blue on his face are considered to be his most attractive characteristic. They have been utilized for portraying rough characters, and make them more appealing. People's magazine listed him as one of the Sexiest Men Alive for 2006.
