Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is a reviewer who tackles Z-grade film generally within the horror or martial arts genre. The style is similar that of The Cinema Snob but tending towards action-oriented dumb films and an obsession with the genre. Her reviews started at the end of 2009 and, following her rise to fame (under the name of Obscurus Lupa, which was previously used) Allison Pregler subsequently became part of the family at Channel Awesome. She remained on the site until the beginning of 2015 in the year that Obscurus Lupa Presents was retooled into Movie Nights. She hosts two podcasts which are about the Charmed series. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Her appearances have been in numerous Channel Awesome programs, from Atop the Fourth Wall and Phelous & the Movies to Atop the Fourth Wall. She has appeared in numerous episodes from Nostalgia Critic and was a former member of the Channel Awesome family together with Doug Walker.
